Biography
Claire was born in Cairns and
raised in Central Queensland, Australia. Her creative
interest in music and the arts came at an early age.
After graduating high school, Claire went to university
and completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts while continuing
with her music. Over the next couple of years, Claire
focused on writing her own music and developing her
unique and original style.
This talent did not go unnoticed. In April 2004, after
catching the attention of several local labels, Claire
had the opportunity to travel to America and Europe
on a song-writing sojourn working with writers from
Murlyn Music, Multiplay Music and Sony. While exploring
her creativity abroad, Claire gained international respect
as an inspiring young singer/songwriter.
Murlyn Music, album producers for Britney Spears, Celion
Dion and Jennifer Lopez, were so impressed with Claire's
unique musical prowess they were keen to produce her
debut album. As former Vice President of Murlyn Music,
Pelle Lidell described "Claire is an amazing talent".
After several trips around the world, Claire has an
impressive portfolio of music contributing to her amazing
debut album, Loving the Blue & Green. |
